Pax PX7 and Aries 6/8 stands provide sturdy and adjustable mounting solutions for Pax payment terminals, offering enhanced security and convenience in retail and hospitality environments

Frequently Asked Questions

Think of these stands as the "chassis" for your high-tech terminal. The PX7 and Aries 8 are substantial devices with beautiful screens; a stand keeps them from sliding around your counter like a loose tablet. It anchors the device so customers can tap, swipe, or sign with total confidence and zero "terminal wobble."
We offer clever mounting systems that are built to handle this specific family of PAX devices. While the PX5, PX7, Aries 6, and Aries 8 have different screen sizes, many of our stands use interchangeable backplates. This means if you decide to upgrade from an Aries 6 to the larger Aries 8, you can usually keep the same stand and just swap the mounting plate.
To get the most out of those high-resolution screens, you need movement! Most of our PAX stands feature smooth swiveling and adjustable tilt. This allows you to effortlessly turn the device toward the customer for a signature or PIN entry and then flip it back to the cashier in one fluid motion.
Because these are premium devices, you want to treat them that way! A stand protects the internal cables from being bent or pulled, keeps the terminal safe from spilled drinks on the counter, and—most importantly—elevates the screen to a comfortable height to reduce glare and improve the customer’s experience.
You’ve got two solid options. If you want a "rock-solid" permanent setup, you can bolt the stand directly into the counter with screws. If you’re looking for a "no-damage" installation (perfect for leased spaces or glass counters), we offer high-strength adhesive pads that keep the stand firmly in place without any drilling.
The Aries 6 and 8, along with the PX7, are the stars of modern retail, upscale restaurants, and high-end service businesses. Since they are built for touchscreen interaction and "tap-and-go" payments, they look and work best when they are mounted at a natural height for the customer to use.
